Important Notice Regarding Waterproofing After IN STORE Battery Replacement

Please note that while we take great care in ensuring the best possible sealing during the battery replacement process, we cannot guarantee that the watch will remain fully waterproof afterward.

Once the watch is opened for the battery change, there is a risk that water may enter the casing in the future.

We cannot provide a warranty on the waterproofing after the service.

How long should my watch battery last?

Your watch battery should typically last approximately two years. However, the older your watch is, the more rapidly it is likely to lose its life.

Should I change my watch battery myself?

We recommend having your watch battery changed by a qualified repair specialist because worn-out batteries can cause damage to the watch. Our people can take care of your watch battery replacement quickly and with preventative measures to ensure no damage is done. Chronographs and exclusive brand-name watch battery replacements  should always be taken care of by a senior watchmaker to protect the integrity of the high end timepiece.

Water damage to my watch has caused condensation to form under the crystal. Help!

We can dry it out for you to prevent rusting. Water damage is more likely to occur when a water resistant watch is put to the test of being water proof A properly sealed watch means the watch is water resistant, so moisture can still enter through openings, around the glass face, through the stem, or through the back of the case. Gaskets deteriorate and wear out, and to maintain water resistance those seals need to be replaced. Overall, the less moisture your watch comes in contact with, the better.
